The International Union of Operating Engineers (I.U.O.E.) Local 904 is an organization that boasts a proud work history, representing a membership of approximately 2,200 people in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The I.U.O.E. Local 904 offers highly-trained and multi-skilled people within its trades and occupations. Our members excel in the operation of heavy construction equipment, maintenance and repair for all types of construction work as well as Operating Engineers clerical work.

Important Notice Concerning Training Courses

Effective immediately Local 904 will no longer pay for training unless it is provided and/or approved by the Operating Engineers College and Local 904. Members who book their own training through other training providers will be required to pay for that training themselves.  You will not be reimbursed unless it has been approved.

Safety Courses

No Training Courses/Safety Courses are scheduled at this time. Please check back again soon.

We will be offering the same courses as always, PLH, WHMIS, TDG, Trenching and Fall Protection.
